Thanks to All Who Made the 2015 Wine Tasting a Success

The Friends of the Malden Public Library would like to thank attendees and supporters for an outstanding 13th Annual Wine Tasting Fundraiser.

300 participants gathered at the Malden Public Library Friday, May 8th to enjoy a wide selection of wines and hors d’oeuvres from local restaurants while supporting the library. The sold out event was held in the beautiful art galleries of the library and live piano music was provided by Ed Meradith.

The Friends would like to extend special thanks to M&M Liquors for their major contribution and support of this extremely successful event!

Area restaurants, grocers, corporations and individuals that generously donated food and beverages include All Seasons Table, Anthony’s Restaurant, Baba Supermarket, Chocolate Fountain by All-Tech Electric, Cornucopia Foods, DD’s Dressing, DiPietro’s, Dockside Restaurant, Dom’s Sausage, Dunkin’ Donuts, Ferry Street Food & Drink, Fu Loon, Hugh O’Neill’s Irish Pub & Restaurant, Joanne Hastings, Joti Palace, Margartia’s Mexican Restaurant, Patticakes Cakes and Pastries, Pearl Street Station, Pho 99, Ristorante Serena, Stop & Shop, Taste of India, Trader Joe’s, Wegmans and Whole Foods Market.

The Friends of the Malden Public Library uses funds raised to support the library’s programs. Recently funded programs include book and audiovisual return bins, museum passes and summer reading list books. Thanks to everyone in the community and we hope to see everyone next year!
